Change starts with one person, one idea. Change happens when one person acts on their idea helping it take root and grow into something greater. What is your idea for change?

That’s what this site is all about.

It’s a place to share your thoughts on what you’d like to change about pretty much anything, and have some fun along the way. Maybe you’d like to change something about the world or perhaps it’s personal change you’re after. Whatever, we’d like to hear about it!

This is also a place where you can see what others want to change. Maybe someone else is after the same thing you are. Use this site to connect with others or find inspiration to get started on the change you’re looking for.

Education leads to personal and professional change. Research changes what we know about the world, how things are done and the quality of our lives. Post-secondary institutions are hotbeds of change. This site is created and operated by students, staff and faculty at the British Columbia Institute of Technology – a post-secondary institution where change happens.

Change starts at BCIT

People become students at BCIT to change their knowledge, skills and prospects for a good career.

Follow a student blog or watch video episodes to hear from students taking their first steps towards change.

BCIT is also a contributor to the big stuff - social, economic, and industry change.

Graduates use the skills and knowledge they’ve developed during their time at BCIT to get good jobs and contribute to the economic prosperity of the province. Applied research projects transform ideas and knowledge into commercially viable products and services.
